Dandi Biyo (Nepali: डन्डी बियो) is a game that was often played in rural Nepal and was considered as a national game until May 23, 2017, when Volleyball was officially declared as the national game.

The administration on May 23, 217 declared Volleyball as the National Game.

A Cabinet meeting held at the Ex-Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal's house in Baluwatar took the choice. The Ministry of Youth and Sports had put the proposition to proclaim volleyball as the national diversion.

Nepal Volleyball Association had been requesting that the game, which is played in each of the 75 areas of the nation, ought to be the national diversion.
